PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
The higher Technician expert in the Agri-food Supply Chains is a new professional figure – operating in the connection between the producer and the consumer- who:
– Collaborates in the design of interventions in the field of agri-food production and processing, in compliance with quality, safety and compliance standards, according to Italian, European and international regulations.
– Manages the processing cycles and control procedures of both the machines and the technological systems of the entire relevant agri-food chain.
– Validates the process and functionality of the production/transformation/ packaging plants and systems, adopted within the “Made in Italy” agri-food supply chains.
– Analyses and manages the economic processes and factors that condition agri-food production, also using biological methods that are attentive to environmental sustainability.
– Assist in the analysis of production and products; promotes process and product innovation.
– Analyses the demand of emerging markets and proposes innovative solutions for the marketing of “Made in Italy” products. He/she manages the activities related to the promotion of supply chain and local products.
– Supervises customs procedures and the preparation of accompanying goods documentation.
– Promotes and manages production processes according to the principles of eco-compatibility, sustainability and in compliance with the specializations and peculiarities of “Made in Italy” and “Born in Sicily”.
New models of Blockchain application will be explored and tested: the “Food Chain”, synonymous with transparency and accessibility, capable of re-generating a new value of food and a new concept of “Consumer-Actor”; “Food Safety”, new tools at the service of the supply chain, able to guarantee the best food traceability so as to ensure new levels of food safety, a valid support for the protection of Made In Italy.
