This is a two-year post-school leaving certificate course in the field of integrated logistics and goods mobility providing technical and operational skills to address the real demands of companies in the sector. The diploma is valid throughout the national territory and within the European Community, at Level V EQF (European Qualification Framework) and allows access to open-competitive exams.
The Higher Technician for Info mobility and Logistic Structures works in the area of planning, management and control of the physical flows of vehicles/goods/people.
It manages the relevant information from the place of origin to that of consumption, having an overall view of the three dimensions of mobility: land, sea, sky. He/she has systemic competence in the logistics cycle and is able to manage relationships with other channel players, both inside and outside the company.
Considering the organizations operating in the reference area, the specific professional figure could be placed in three different operational sectors:
1) in the management of integrated logistics services in distribution platforms: in this sense, the figure fits within companies  operating in the logistics sector and in particular in the management of platforms;
2) in the management of logistics services for production companies and transport companies, both from an economic-managerial point of view and from that of transportation: this professional figure can perform these tasks as part of a team, in shipping offices of medium-sized manufacturing companies, and in positions of responsibility in small companies (which are generally under-equipped with internal resources provided with the relevant skills), and finally in the various consortia of companies operating in the field of integrated logistics;
3) in the planification of the area on the issues of the development of integrated logistics services, thus addressing the demand of experts in the field of integrated logistics, who are also able to guide programming according to the needs of the market and logistics companies, as well production companies in general, by public bodies, trade associations, and local economic bodies.
