The second-level Academic Diploma in Sculpture aims to form artistic skills and qualified professionals specialised in shaping forms and materials.
The aim is to provide a preparation functional to the conscious use of creation methods and processes of plastic-visual production in order to develop students’ autonomous research in traditional and more innovative sculpture, including also new art trends and most advanced technologies, in line with the pluralism of languages and technological innovations that characterise the contemporary world.
The course proposes the integration of knowledge acquired through manual skills with the knowledge deriving from the introduction of new technologies, paying particular attention to the procedures necessary for their contextual and coherent application.
