The master degree in Italianistics aims to provide a deep disciplinary preparation and adequate tools to train experts in Italian culture, language and literature. The course is structured in order to allow students to consolidate and expand their knowledge, to improve their philology, linguistic, historical-literary skills. At the end, students will have the necessary critical orientation skills in historical-literary phenomena and in the analysis of texts; they will be able to produce and manage oral texts and professional writing in the field of Italian Linguistics and Literature.
The programme proposes also to link the Italian linguistic and literary tradition with the European one, and with the founding junctions of the respective traditions, thus favoring the classical (fundamentally Latin) and Romance inheritance.
