Course description:
The course aims to provide cultural and managerial knowledge and skills for professionals operating in the sector. In particular, it aims to provide foundation knowledge in the following areas:
– knowledge of English, French, Spanish and German languages and in-depth study of historical, archaeological and artistic studies from prehistory to the contemporary age;
– knowledge and understanding of the geo-economic aspects concerning tourist places and destinations, and management of tourism businesses also concerning the marketing of specific aspects such as, territory, food and wine etc.
Students come into direct contact with the world of work through guided visits to monuments and companies and above all through internal and external internships.
Employment opportunities:
Graduates of the course will have access to professions in the field of hospitality structures, service cooperatives, travel agencies, tour operators; private and public structures, such as Municipalities, Provinces, Superintendencies and Museums.
